My newfound knowledge on feelings and emotions inspired me to write this quote. We all need to assess our deep-rooted feelings.  When we work on developing feelings of love, happiness, and contentment, we will generate positive emotions.

Manifest Your Desires

This day doesn’t have to be your birthday to make a wish.  I want you to close your eyes right now and purposely think of something you want.  To test this process, let’s start with something simple.  I simply asked for a connection with a dear friend who I have known for many years.  Now let go of the thought and forget about it.  What I mean is don’t dwell on it or keep asking for it or wondering whether or not it’s going to come true.  To speed up the process, stay positive and believe with all your heart that it will happen with absolutely no doubt.  You can even act like it has happened or you’ve received it already and be very thankful.  Continue with your normal, daily activities, but stay fully focused in the present moment throughout the days ahead.  I am so excited for us right now, because this is part of what life is all about.  Stay tuned my friends. I am wishing you a joy-filled life!

Be a Positive Influence

Give someone a compliment today.  Lift someone up.  Encourage someone to keep moving forward.  Inspire someone to become better.  Motivate someone to be creative and productive.  It’s such a good feeling when you can totally change someone’s day for the better just by being a positive influence.  (Thank you Traci for the seashell.)

Focus on What’s Right

We will experience many obstacles in life.  Usually, our first reaction is to resist what is happening.  We also want to know why it is happening.  What we really need to do is focus on getting though the situation and to think positive about what we can learn from it.  It’s a growing experience.  We may come to find out later or we may never know.  Our faith is being put to the test.

Put the Pieces Together

Life is like a puzzle. When all the pieces come together and everything makes sense, you will finally learn personal truth.  There are only a few key pieces to the puzzle, but they are quite significant and life-changing. The most important piece to the puzzle is a positive mental attitude. This is what you believe about yourself, others, and life. Your life will be so much better when you keep your thoughts on the positive side. Although your beliefs, thoughts, and emotions impact your health and physical being tremendously, the other critical pieces are: a healthy diet, exercise, and sleep. What goes into the body should be nourishing and nutritious to keep the body functioning. You must move your body around to keep the positive energy flowing and of course rest to reenergize. The last piece to the puzzle is mindful meditation. Meditation helps you to quiet your mind, deal with your thoughts, and to become more “aware” of your inner most being. Meditation connects your inner power with the Creator/universe/God. This is when you listen to receive guidance, clarity, and direction for life.
