Shift Your Perception
“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” (Romans 12:1–2).
When we are not our best selves, we can view people, things, and situations in a negative way. If we want to transform our lives, we have to renew our minds. When we change our way of thinking, we can discern what is true and righteous.
Manifest Your Desires
This day doesn’t have to be your birthday to make a wish. I want you to close your eyes right now and purposely think of something you want. To test this process, let’s start with something simple. I simply asked for a connection with a dear friend who I have known for many years. Now let go of the thought and forget about it. What I mean is don’t dwell on it or keep asking for it or wondering whether or not it’s going to come true. To speed up the process, stay positive and believe with all your heart that it will happen with absolutely no doubt. You can even act like it has happened or you’ve received it already and be very thankful. Continue with your normal, daily activities, but stay fully focused in the present moment throughout the days ahead. I am so excited for us right now, because this is part of what life is all about. Stay tuned my friends. I am wishing you a joy-filled life!
Transformation
If we want to transform our lives, we must take a journey into the heart of ourselves, to the very core center of our being. This is where we will discover who we really are and that we are all bound together by the same Source. This is where the light, love, peace, power, and the truth exist in everyone. When we become “aware” of our true identity, our lives will have meaning and we will feel whole and complete. When we connect our higher selves with the Source of all creation and stay connected, we will feel safe and protected, and our lives will change significantly.
The Real You
How would you describe yourself? What is underneath the mask… the essence of who you are? You were created perfectly, although at times, you may have contradicting thoughts about this. But those thoughts are not who you really are. Your job is to rise above those thoughts and declare that you are whole. When defining who you are, use the two words “I am.” These two small but very powerful words are stating a fact that is already true. You just need to realize it, especially when those negative thoughts sneak in. Below are just a few examples of what I am. The list goes on and on because I am a wonderful human being, and so are you.
- I am courageous.
- I am beautiful.
- I am kind.
- I am thankful.
- I am loving.
- I am generous.
- I am happy.
- I am strong.
- I am powerful.
- I am wise.
