This day doesn’t have to be your birthday to make a wish. I want you to close your eyes right now and purposely think of something you want. To test this process, let’s start with something simple. I simply asked for a connection with a dear friend who I have known for many years. Now let go of the thought and forget about it. What I mean is don’t dwell on it or keep asking for it or wondering whether or not it’s going to come true. To speed up the process, stay positive and believe with all your heart that it will happen with absolutely no doubt. You can even act like it has happened or you’ve received it already and be very thankful. Continue with your normal, daily activities, but stay fully focused in the present moment throughout the days ahead. I am so excited for us right now, because this is part of what life is all about. Be a Positive Influence
Give someone a compliment today. Lift someone up. Encourage someone to keep moving forward. Inspire someone to become better. Motivate someone to be creative and productive. It’s such a good feeling when you can totally change someone’s day for the better just by being a positive influence. (Thank you Traci for the seashell.)
Focus on What’s Right
We will experience many obstacles in life. Usually, our first reaction is to resist what is happening. We also want to know why it is happening. What we really need to do is focus on getting though the situation and to think positive about what we can learn from it. It’s a growing experience. We may come to find out later or we may never know. Our faith is being put to the test.

Put the Pieces Together
Life is like a puzzle. When all the pieces come together and everything makes sense, you will finally learn personal truth. There are only a few key pieces to the puzzle, but they are quite significant and life-changing. The most important piece to the puzzle is a positive mental attitude. This is what you believe about yourself, others, and life. Your life will be so much better when you keep your thoughts on the positive side. Although your beliefs, thoughts, and emotions impact your health and physical being tremendously, the other critical pieces are: a healthy diet, exercise, and sleep. What goes into the body should be nourishing and nutritious to keep the body functioning. You must move your body around to keep the positive energy flowing and of course rest to reenergize. The last piece to the puzzle is mindful meditation. Meditation helps you to quiet your mind, deal with your thoughts, and to become more “aware” of your inner most being. Meditation connects your inner power with the Creator/universe/God. This is when you listen to receive guidance, clarity, and direction for life.

What’s Meant To Be
Destiny is a predetermined course of events usually powered by an irresistible life force. We can intentionally control what happens in the future (to a certain extent). Sometimes, things turn out better than what we could ever imagine. As long as we stay conscious and alert in the present moment; be positive with our mind, thoughts, and actions (even during the bumps along the road); and go with the natural flow; we will fulfill our destiny.
Do you expect to do many great things? Are you destined to be with a certain person and perhaps meant to live somewhere else? When you have the desire and can feel it and believe it, you can make it happen!
Path to Power
Your whole life revolves around what is going on inside of you. What you are thinking, what you are believing, what you are feeling, what you are intending, what or who you are connecting with spiritually, and what you are physically putting into your body. Your inner world is attracting your outer world. The path to power begins with awareness. Only when you become ‘aware’ of what needs to be changed within yourself can you make changes in your life. As always, positive changes bring positive results.
Greatest Teacher
Do you ever wish you could go back to a younger age in life? I’ve heard many people say they wish they were younger but only if they knew then what they know now. What do you know now? Have your learned from your past experiences? Experiences can sting us and teach us not to do that again or positive experiences can motivate us to keep doing what we’re doing. We learn more from our experiences than anything no matter if they’re good or bad. Experiences are our greatest teachers. Oscar Wilde wrote this great quote:
“Experience is the hardest kind of teacher. It gives you the test first and the lesson afterward.”
Be of Service
We were put on this earth to help each other. Who are you going to help today? Will you offer your condolences to a family who lost a loved one; are you praying for someone who is ill; will you express your gratitude to someone who has helped you; will you reach out to someone who is struggling with life; or will you simply be kind to everyone who crosses your path today? Helping others is a great way to feel good about ourselves. When we help people, people will naturally want to help us, and the positive energy will keep increasing. What are you going to do today to be of service?

If I could create a pill to take, this pill would give me the ability to control my inner self with positive thoughts, self-love and acceptance, and strength and courage to overcome my fears and to achieve my purpose in life. 🙂
