We all have busy lives that could lead to stress and anxiety. It’s good to stay motivated and creative, but we have to stop sometimes and just “be.” Be quiet, be still, and be grateful. Calm yourself down, close your eyes to take your attention away from the outside world, and now slowly, take a few long, deep breaths. Repeat this breathing process until you can feel yourself completely letting go. This is when you will feel the peace and tranquility within.

We All Make Them
The Most Valuable Gift
The most valuable gift you can give someone is your time. Spend a small amount of your time today by giving someone your undivided attention. It could be an elderly person, co-worker, friend, relative, etc. Parents please take the time from your hectic schedule and pay attention to your children. They would much rather spend time with you than any material object. You may even want to devote some time to yourself or spend time with your pet. This is a great act of caring and compassion.
The Universe
When you are feeling good and are having a nice day, you are attracting positive energy. When you are angry or in a bad mood, you will get more negativity. You can simply change your day by changing your attitude. The key to controlling your life is being aware of your thoughts and the words you are using. Something very important to remember is the universe does not recognize words such as don’t, not, never, no, etc., so these words get dropped from the meaning. When you think or say, “I don’t want to be sad,” the universe translates this into: “I want to be sad.” Instead say, “I want to be happy.” The universe is ready and waiting to give you what you want. So who or what are you attracting right now?
One Source
We may have different beliefs about who created us and how we were originally created. But we arrived here on this planet as human beings from one source and there is no denying that. Does it really matter how we got here or what we label our Creator? The most important part of life is to be grateful for it and make the best of it. We need to remember that we are all in this together.
Be Like a Tree
A tree is a living thing. Trees seem so peaceful and strong. They stand tall and erect through all weather conditions; rain, hail, sleet, snow, wind, clouds, and sunshine. A tree may lose its leaves, but no worries, the leaves will grow back during the appropriate time or season. Trees have a purpose. They provide beauty, shade, shelter, oxygen, and wood products such as paper, furniture, and housing. Some trees provide flowers, fruit, nuts, and maple syrup. Appreciate the trees.
Storms will Pass
I bet there have been times when you have been completely overwhelmed with issues going on in life. Be grateful anyway. Blessings come in many forms and may come in disguise. Remember God is good and working behind the scenes for us. Sometimes we’ll figure out why things happened the way they did, but sometimes we’ll never know. We still have to have faith in God and in ourselves. Everything is in order and as planned.
Flaunt Our Flaws
We all have one thing in common. Each and every one of us has flaws. Now I know some of you don’t want to admit it, but we all do. Why are we so afraid to expose our flaws? Is it because we’re afraid of what other people might think of us? We need to realize that we are beautiful even with our imperfections.
Let’s change the way we think about ourselves. It’s too exhausting trying to be someone we’re not. We are going to work on and undo what society has done to us for decades. Besides, how do we know for sure they are actually ‘flaws?’ A flaw could be beauty in disguise. From now on, let’s just be straightforward. We are always flaunting our good characteristics, but what about the parts we ‘think’ other people won’t like? Because guess what… they may have the very same one(s)! Love everything about yourself. You will be so much happier!
Meditate vs Medicate
Meditation and medication sound alike and are similar in meaning. Both are used for the healing and renewal process of a human being. However medication is a substance absorbed into the body, while meditation is a natural method accessing the mind, body, and spirit. Meditation is a practice that anyone can do even young children. It has many health benefits, and it’s totally free!
