You are where you are now because of the choices you’ve made. Everything you do in life do it with awareness. Make conscious choices. Make choices based on love and faith rather than fear and doubt. Allow the goodness within you to help guide you to make wise choices. The choices you make create your life. Make your own choices, or you will end up following someone else’s dream.

Be Open-Minded

Are you a person that is willing to accept new ideas and try different things or are you closed-minded, set in your ways, and resist change? It’s good to have strong views about a specific topic, but it is also good to be balanced and listen to other people’s opinions. You just might learn something new and better. When you adjust your perspective, and try new things, your life will be more fulfilling. How do you know for sure whether or not you like something if you don’t try it? You are missing out on so much in life when you stay in the same old routine. It’s time to come out of your comfort zone and take that step of faith.

We have such busy schedules that sometimes prevent us from enjoying the simple things in life. We get pulled in many different directions that our lives become chaotic. We rush around in a frenzy taking kids to school or to their activities, going to work, grocery shopping, working out, checking emails, etc. It is no wonder we have so much stress in our lives. We need to learn to slow down or stop and be present. We can very easily eliminate some things to allow time for unwinding and relaxation. Life goes by quick enough. Be like a child and appreciate the small pleasures in life. Here is Liam taking time to smell the flowers.

 

Create the Perfect Love

When we want to attract the right people into our lives, we first have to be right with ourselves. How can we be better so that we can have better relationships? If you’re in a relationship that needs repaired, figure out what you can do to make things right. Instead of expecting the other person to change, we have to learn to change ourselves. Become more loving, accepting, and supportive of ourselves, and then we can provide the same in our relationships. love4

EGO

Does the ego help or hinder us? Some people believe the ego gives us that drive to do more and get more. Others believe it has no purpose and can be overpowering and destructive. When any particular part of us becomes off-balance, we could have problems. It is good to achieve our goals and get what we want in life but not to the point of doing harm to others and even ourselves. An inflated ego is unstable and fearful and likes to be in control at all times and the center of attention. It lives by comparisons and clashes with other big egos. The ego is easily recognizable in others, but it can also be subtle. When we give to a good cause, is it for praise and recognition or are we giving from our hearts? Is your ego controlling your life? When you let your heart and intuition guide you, you will be happy and still succeed in life.

Here Comes 2015!

With 2014 coming to an end, we should consider making plans/goals for the new year.  Some of us are wanting or needing to make major lifestyle changes, while others are perfectly content staying in their comfort zones.  Where ever we are in life, we should always seek ways to improve ourselves and the way we live.  We could lend a helping hand, complain less, be forgiving, eat healthier, exercise regularly, get organized, give more, save more, and spend less, be open-minded and less judgmental, be grateful, and always be kind and loving.  When we practice self-awareness, we can be more and do more to become better.  Best wishes for a very happy, healthy, and harmonious 2015!
