I agree with what Author Glennon Doyle Melton says about it: No matter how invested you are in making your marriage work, she says, it isn’t worth saving if it means abandoning yourself emotionally, physically, spiritually or in any other way. “If a woman has a choice between saving her soul and saving her marriage, she needs to save her soul,” she says. I believe this principle would also apply to men. ~dp
